The Pistol Dynamics Executive Option takes advantage of a low maintenance bull barrel design that doesn't need tools to field strip and we've blended it with technology to eliminate the barrel instability inherent in traditional bull barrel systems. The X-O is the first bull barrel pistol to feature our new 'Active Recoil Plug' system that supports the barrel throughout it's cycle and helps to retard the action of the system by keeping pressure on the barrel at all times. This ensures that the bullet leaves the barrel before the ejection cycle begins and prevents vertical 'stringing' on the target.

Other design enhancements that were developed for the X-O include our exclusive PD sight system with optional Fiber-Optic inserts for both the front and rear sights. This high visibility three dot system is highly functional and can be ordered with various combinations of colored inserts to suit the shooter. Even though the gun is bushingless and does not include the ISS system, the front sight is removable and can be exchanged in our shop to compensate for sight height adjustments and insert arrangements.

The rest of the pistol is typical Pistol Dynamics quality. Precision fit slide and frame with custom PD barrel. We also included 'Scout' style charging serrations on the slide and 20 LPI lining on the front strap and main spring housing. The front end of the slide is chisled and 'Browning Cut' for positive release of the handgun from molded holsters.

The X-O is everything you need in a hand fitted, custom, carry gun. The ARP system adds to it's 'bank vault' feel and target accurate performance while the ergonomics, controllability and styling is typical of what a true Liebenberg custom has come to represent.
