Liebenberg Signature pistols are hand built on Pistol Dynamics slide and frame sets, Colt Series 70 and other high quality 1911 based pistols using traditional custom gun building techniques. These models are timeless in design and execution and have a wide range of available features. Every operation on the pistol is performed on manual tool room quality machines and all major fitting, metal checkering and styling is done by hand.

Signature Models include a hand formed machined beavertail and optional custom weld-on mag well. We also offer squared trigger guards that are a replacement of the original round guard that is expertly welded in place, re-machined and hand checkered. We do not stretch or swage our guards.

Liebenberg performs his ultra-accurate barrel installations using either Match Grade Bar-Sto or custom machined premium grade barrels off Bar-Sto rifled blanks that are perfectly mated to a precision slide stop pin and ISS bushing. The function of the weapon is fine tuned with our proven port geometry and the barrel and feed ramp is throated and ramped to accept all quality ammunition.

The ignition system is made up of the highest quality components includes our new retro inspired hammer that is probably one of the few 'street safe' parts that can match the performance of ultra light competition hammers.

In its final stages the gun is expertly hand polished and marked with the Liebenberg logo and finished in blue, hard chrome or combination of the two. The completed Signature pistol is packaged with two tuned magazines a signed test target and authenticity document.

While it takes some time to build a one of a kind piece and not inexpensive, the results justify the means, and for the serious shooter or collector we offer the services of Paul Liebenberg, one of the few active masters of the trade who still applies his personal skills to every handgun that leaves the shop.
