"Pistol Dyanamics 1911 slides and receivers are dimensionally optimized forged and machined components manufactured from high carbon steel. They are designed to integrate seamlessly with all our existing parts and components. Our philosophy is to machine the parts we design and produce them from barstock or forgings. We do not process parts using the PIM or MIM method. While we offer certain base 'models' to steer the direction of a design , each unit is ultimately optimized for a particular prime use. Our guns are totally custom built and we configure the design and feature set of every pistol to individual customers need and use intent."

The Pistol Dynamics Philosophy:
From the inception of Pistol Dynamics II in 2001 we made a commitment to develop a well rounded custom gun business that would cater to the specific needs of almost every segment of the custom and performance handgun market. We committed to design, develop and manufacture our own parts and components for use on our handguns and we always had a long term plan to produce our own pistols so that a customer could own a fully authenticated piece with our name on the frame. With the advent of Pistol Dynamics as a licensed manufacturer in 2007 we expanded the options of what our customers might select as the base to their custom project. We continue to offer our work on STI and SVI wide body frame sets and other high quality handguns or frame and slide components should a client prefer that, but our focus will remain on manufacturing custom handguns based on our own parts.

Note: We do not mass produce personalized firearms and sell them to you as 'Custom.' There may be times when we will build short runs of fixed featured handguns for customer specific needs (special dealer requirements, Law Enforcement etc.) However, all of our guns are scratch built to order and we will maintain our integrity as a true custom gun business.
