Electronic Sight Installations
We now offer professional CNC installation services for J-Point, Trijicon, Optima and FirePoint electronic sights on customer supplied blank slides. Until recently we mounted these sights on our scratch built pistols only, but a serge in market interest in mini optics has allowed us to broaden our ability to perform this operation more efficiently. Custom Fitted Pelican Cases
Pelican cases with custom inserts in single or double layer (depending on customer requirements) are now available to protect your Pistol Dynamics handgun. Inserts are machine routed from the high density, medical grade, non-absorbent foam. Multi-gun or mixed handgun/rifle cases are available. We can design a custom case insert for your specific needs or you can choose from one of our stock layouts. Custom ID plates are also available. We will be uploading available layouts and color combinations in the near future. Fitted cases start at $175.
New Radial ISS Bushing and Recoil Plug
Beginning January 1 2009 SCOUT based pistols may be ordered with our new Radial ISS bushing and recoil plug configuration for a moderate upcharge. This system is designed to eliminate the need for tools (such as the bushing wrench) in order to field strip the pistol but still retains the interchangeable front sight feature. Full length guide rods are not compatible with this system.

The Scout 'Mask' logo is now available as a custom machined insert for the PD micarta combat grip. Our goal is to offer a totally unique design and feature set on all our Pistol Dynamics handguns, and to control as many of the components used in the building of our handguns as possible; so we chose to machine the inserts from high-grade aluminum in-house (as apposed to ordering them in bulk from China). Some customers like blank guns with no logos so the Mask grips and Scout engraving on the slides are not a stock offering and need to be quoted at time of order. Logo grip inserts for the X-O will be available in the near future.
