The original Combat Special was a multipurpose handgun used by competitors and professionals alike. In the hands of experts in their disciplines, it won Bullseye Championships, IPSC World Championships and was carried by famous Lawmen as tools of their trade.

Paul Liebenberg designed the Evolution as an extention of the original Combat Special, something that gun could have conceivably evolved into if circumstances had allowed. This pistol is the epitome of the modern custom handgun and is capable in every sense. It's built with line to line tolerances and ammunition accurate, there's nothing on the gun that you don't need and that isn't there for a reason.

The Evolution is handbuilt using all our available skills and technology. It's custom made with premium components you can't have unless you buy one of our guns. It's not a compilation of commercial parts that can be bought out of a catalog. Over 95% of the components used to build the piece are unique to Pistol Dynamics; from our new propriatary slide and frame, match grade barrel, sight system, beavertail, external extractor and ignition components, practically every part is individually tailored for this gun.

Like all the other critical opperations the metal checkering is expertly hand cut by Liebenberg himself. Each barrel is precision machined to fit precisely to the slide, bushing, frame and slide stop. The pistol is hand polished and finished in hard chrome, rich blue or combination of the two. The completed handgun is delivered ith two tuned magazines, tomb-stone bushing wrench, signed test target.

The Liebenberg Combat Special Evolution is an investment you can draw the dividends from now and something of increasing value you can hand down in the future. It's a custom pistol that is a retrospective of a classic, but is definitely not the 'same old thing'.
